You do not need to follow the directions in this article to download version Well, Rocky, you do need to follow the directions if you want an ISO file that you can run a file integrity check on. Via the media creation tool, you will get a different shasum or md5 or whatever because it creates the ISO on the fly rather than giving you a bit-for-bit copy of a DVD, for example.
